We’re all missing the freedon to give and receive hospitality at the moment, even having a friend round for a cup of tea feels like a distant dream. But as we think about the road towards the end of lockdown, what if “hospitality” meant something a bit more than inviting your best mates round? What if it didn’t stop with people who are, well, basically similar to you? What if we all decided to reach our across the divide…?
Welcome to our service this Sunday – it’s so cool that you are able to join us!
We’ve been thinking over the last few weeks about the kind of community God intends us to create within church. The series is called “Doing Life Together” and this week Paul is speaking on some verses from 1 Peter and thinking about what it means to offer hospitality to one another.
After the service we’ll be having a virtual coffee time on Zoom at 11.45. This is our opportunity to catch up with friends and spend a bit of time chatting. If you’ve never joined us for one of these before we’d love to meet you, please do come and join in. For security reasons the Zoom meeting details have been sent out by email to everyone on our regular mailing list, if you haven’t received them please drop Paul an email and he will send the connection details over to you.
