Like everything else Southampton Street Pastors have had to adapt to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The traditional Friday and Saturday city centre night-time patrols have been replaced by smaller evening patrols primarily to distribute cooked meals to the homeless who are not as yet in emergency accommodation. In addition, 8 daytime patrols a week are being undertaken in the city centre, Shirley High Street, Millbrook and other parts of the city. 

The impact of the patrols continues to be significant and well received as they offer reassurance, safety and support within our communities and help to reflect His Love into the city. God willing, the Autumn training for new would be SPs begins the weekend of Friday, 9th October 2020.
