So when New Wine called us and pleaded with us to be part of what they’re doing this summer, we were quite firm.  “You’ll have to fit in with our series on Psalms”, I said, “If you can do that we’re in!”.  Of course, they didn’t hesitate.  “We’ll make the Sunday morning all about Psalm 23 if you like, would that fit in with your Dangerous Poetry series?”, they asked eagerly…

OK, none of that actually happened.  But it is rather cool that while we are right in the middle of a series on Psalms we take a week to join with a national event and they are preaching on a Psalm, isn’t it?

As I write this on Friday, we are just 24 hours into New Wine and already there are some exciting stories emerging of God speaking to people within the TBC family.  We will be sharing some of these in a couple of weeks, but don’t miss out!  I would really encourage you to watch the main worship and teaching sessions—they will be available on YouTube afterwards if you can’t join them live.  God is alive and active and moving in your life, you don’t need to tune in to a national event to hear him but sometimes these occasions help us to clear away the distractions and give him the space He longs to have in our lives.  Don’t miss out!
