It’s been just over 100 days in lockdown but one of the highlights for me each week as we’ve been involved in our Sunday services has been the creative, spiritual and practical activities which have kept us going and sustained us during so many weeks of 2020. This Sunday we look forward to getting out an about a bit as a church and engaging in our Driveway Diner. Many of us will be visited or be out visiting each other, sitting together and enjoying a drink and catch up together. I really hope that this will be an enjoyable afternoon and look forward to seeing your photographs next week.
We are aware that this season is a challenging one … services online or being watched on a DVD or listened to via CD. This coming Tuesday we are having our first church meeting during lockdown and amongst other things, we will be able to chat together about Sundays as they are at the moment and look at some of the big questions around how the church can re-open and when. As always, these gatherings are so key to healthy life as church family and hope that you will join us on Zoom either online or by using the telephone number which will connect you in.
With so many summer events being cancelled, I’m delighted that New Wine are making their programme available to us online and encourage you to look at our website to see how TBC is going to join in this summer.
