Guard The Word
Scripture References: 2 Timothy 1:13-14
From Series: "In Conclusion"
The Apostle Paul was pretty hot on writing letters, almost half the books in the New Testament are messages that he wrote to churches he had started or to friends and fellow church leaders. His second letter to a man called Timothy, though, is particularly personal. Timothy had been a trusted assistant and co-worker with Paul and had become a dear friend. But now Paul was under arrest and facing almost certain death at the hands of the Romans – the letter that we call 2 Timothy was the last that he wrote from prison and contains his final thoughts and encouragements to the man he had mentored.
