I was brought up in a Christian family and have regularly been attending Thornhill Baptist Church and Sunday school and enjoyed the company I received there. As I grew older I became more involved in helping out at Thornhill Baptist Church, and one day I decided to pray for something more, to understand that this God was real and for him to show me real life examples.

Over the coming years I saw multiple things that made me realise that God is real. I have prayed for healings at services and they happened right before my eyes. I saw a family member slain in the spirit and also someone prophesied over my GCSE results and predicted them correctly. All these events are a living demonstration to me that God is alive today. I felt it was only right to give my life to Christ when the time felt right, so one night at a Christian youth event I did just that.

He has taken me on a journey locally and globally, urging me to get involved and giving me a passion to do what is right and step in where the need is greatest. So far this has led me to be a Royal Holloway University and I look forward to where my faith leads me next.
